Lifecraft can display daily and hourly weather forecasts. The weather is automatically saved when you create a journal entry so you can view the weather for all past entries.
What you’ll need
This feature requires Lifecraft Premium.
On your iPhone, iPad
Forecast
The current weather forecast also appears at the top of the Journal List. Tap the forecast to open the detailed weather view.
Or you can open the weather view from the Dashboard:
- Tap Dashboard at the bottom of the screen.
- Make sure today's date is selected in the Dashboard view (you can swipe left or right in the Dashboard view to change dates -- or select a date in the calendar view).
- A weather icon should appear in the navigation bar. If it doesn't, scroll down until you see the weather rows.
- Tap the weather icon/rows to see a detailed forecast.
Location
By default, you'll see the weather for your current location. If you'd like to manually change the weather location:
- Open the weather forecast using the steps above.
- The weather location appears at the bottom of the forecast.
- Tap the location to change it.
Units
By default, the weather units are automatically selected based on your current location. However, you can manually change the units in the app Settings:
- Open the app Settings.
- Tap General and select the Weather Units setting.
On your Mac
Forecast
The current weather forecast also appears at the top of the Journal List. Click the forecast to open the detailed weather view.
Or you can open the weather view from the Dashboard:
- Click the Dashboard button at the top of the main window.
- Make sure today's date is selected in the Dashboard view (you can select different dates in the calendar view).
- The weather summary is visible in the lower-left corner of the view.
- Click the summary to open a detailed forecast.
Location
By default, you'll see the weather for your current location. If you'd like to manually change the weather location:
- Open the weather forecast using the steps above.
- The weather location appears at the bottom of the forecast.
- Click the location to change it.
Units
By default, the weather units are automatically selected based on your current location. However, you can manually change the units in the Settings window:
- Open the app Settings.
- Select the General settings.
- Click the Weather Units button.
