Lifecraft's Theme setting allows you to adapt its appearance to suit your style. Do you typically write in your journal at the end of the day? If so, you may want to select a dark theme that's easier on your eyes.
Some themes require Lifecraft Premium.
On your iPhone, iPad
To change the theme:
- Tap Dashboard at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Settings button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select General > Themes.
Tip: if you're in a Journal view, you can tap the More button (···) at the top of the screen, then select Themes.
On your Mac
To change the theme:
- Choose Lifecraft > Preferences
- Click the Theme button in the General preferences.
Automatic Theme Switching
Your iPhone, iPad and Mac all have a built-in dark mode (see iOS Dark Mode or Mac Dark Mode). By default, Lifecraft will automatically change its theme to match your device's appearance. For example, if dark mode is selected on your iPhone, Lifecraft will automatically select a dark theme like "Conrad". If you then select a light appearance on your iPhone, Lifecraft will switch back to a light theme like "Frost".
You can disable this automatic theme switching by manually selecting a "contrasting" theme in Lifecraft. For example, if you want Lifecraft's "Hemingway" theme to remain selected, even if your iPhone is set to dark mode, select Hemingway while dark mode is enabled on your iPhone.
To re-enable automatic theme switching, select a theme in Lifecraft that matches your device's appearance. For example, if your device is set to the light appearance, select a light theme like "Frost". If your device is set to a dark appearance, select a dark theme like "Conrad".
