Use the Lifecraft Share Extension to clip text, links, photos from other apps and save them as Lifecraft journal entries. Lifecraft does not need to be open when you do this.

 On your iPhone/iPad

1. Select some content in another app (Safari, Mail, etc.)
2. Tap the Share icon or button:
   
        
   
   
3. Tap the Lifecraft icon in the sheet that appears. If you don't see the Lifecraft icon, select More and make sure Lifecraft is enabled:
   
   
   
   
4. The selected text/link/photo will be copied to the Share dialog. You can then add any desired text.
   
   
   
   
5. Tap Save New Entry In to choose where the new entry will be saved. You can choose a journal or an existing entry:
   
   
   
   
6. If you choose a journal, the content will be saved in a new entry in the selected journal.
7. If you choose an existing entry, the content will be added to the end of the selected entry.
8. When you're ready, click Save. The next time you open Lifecraft, you'll see the new/updated journal entry.

On your Mac

Before you can use the Share Extension on the Mac, you must enable it. This can be done by choosing More in the Share menu. Or you can in enable it in the System Settings:

Enable Share Extension

1. Choose  > System Settings > Privacy & Security > Extensions.
2. In the Extensions view, select Added extensions and make sure Lifecraft is enabled.
3. In the Extensions view, select Sharing and make sure Lifecraft is enabled.

Use Share Extension

1. Select some content in another app (Safari, Mail, etc.)
2. Click the Share button. It usually appears in the top-right corner of the app window:
   
   
   
   
3. If you don't see a Share button in the app, control-click the selected text, then choose Share in the contextual menu that appears:
   
   
4. Select Lifecraft in the Share menu. If you don't see Lifecraft, select More at the bottom of the menu and make sure Lifecraft is enabled.

6. Click the menu at the bottom of the dialog to choose where where the new entry will be saved. You can choose a journal or an existing entry.
7. If you choose a journal, the content will be saved in a new entry in the selected journal.
8. If you choose an existing entry, the content will be added to the end of the selected entry.
9. When you're ready, click Save. The next time you open Lifecraft, you'll see the new/updated journal entry.
