If you're a Lifecraft Premium user and something has gone terribly wrong (perhaps you forgot the encryption password and can no longer access your information), you can delete your Lifecraft database and download all of your data from iCloud.
Requirements
Important: this procedure uses iCloud syncing, which is only available in Lifecraft PREMIUM. So don't try this if you're using the free version of Lifecraft.
On your iPhone/iPad
- Back up your iPhone/iPad.
- Delete the Lifecraft app.
- Reinstall Lifecraft from the App Store.
- Launch Lifecraft and follow the set up procedure. When prompted, enter your password.
On your Mac
- Quit Lifecraft.
- Click on the desktop (so Finder is selected).
- In the menubar at the top of the screen, click the "Go" item and choose "Go to Folder…"
- Copy and paste this text into the window that appears:
~/Library/Group Containers/5T47RRFHD8.com.lifecraft.shared/Library/Application Support/Lifecraft - You should see a file called "Library_1". Drag that file to the Trash (but don't empty the trash yet).
- Launch Lifecraft and follow the set up procedure. When prompted, enter your password.
After you've completed the set up procedure, Lifecraft should start syncing your data from iCloud. This process can take a while so please leave Lifecraft open and selected until the sync is complete.
You can view the Sync status in the Settings. If the sync appears "stuck" (i.e. you don't see any activity for 1 minute or more), feel free to stop the sync and start it again.
Once the sync is complete, your database should be fully rebuilt with all of the information from iCloud.
