Format your text
There are no special text editing modes or complicated style codes to remember. You can easily format your text using familiar font tools.
On your iPhone/iPad
- Select some entry text (the keyboard should appear).
- Tap above the keyboard to show the keyboard toolbar.
- Tap Aa to see the style, font and color tools.
- Tap a font name or color and see your text change instantly.

On your Mac
Click the Aa button above the journal entry to open the Text panel.

More button
The More button (···) appears above the journal entry. The More view helps you perform many useful tasks related to journal entries. For example, you can:
- View/change the entry date, location, weather, etc.
- Assign tags to the entry.
- Have Zee speak the entry.
- Open the App Settings (iPhone, iPad).

Insert
To insert different types of content into your entry, click the More button (···) above the journal entry, then click Insert. You can insert photos or videos, voice recordings, times & dates, entry templates, links, etc.

Emotions
Emotions are an integral part of Lifecraft (see Emotions Overview). To add an emotion to a journal entry, click the emotion bar on the right side of the screen and select an emotion. See Adding Emotions for more information.
After you've recorded some emotions in Lifecraft, discover what's trending in your emotional life using the Emotion Charts. Click the bar chart icon that appears above the emotion bar (see screenshot above) to open the Emotion Charts.
Change entry date
To change the journal entry date, click the More button (···) then click the entry date.
Search entry text
In the Entry List, you can search the selected journal for all entries that contain the search text. You can also search for text within the selected journal entry:
On your iPhone, iPad
- Tap above the keyboard to show the keyboard toolbar if necessary.
- Tap the magnifying glass icon in the keyboard toolbar.
- Enter text in the search field.
On your Mac
- Choose Edit > Find > Find… (shortcut: cmd-F).
- Enter text in the search field at the top of the journal entry.
Navigate your entries (iPhone/iPad)
Swipe from the MIDDLE of the screen to navigate to a different journal entry. Swipe from the LEFT EDGE of the screen to open the Entry List.
